Pixel du Nord is a family-owned Minnesota business led by Ramona and Jay—a husband-and-wife team passionate about innovative technology and creative solutions.

Why Pixel du Nord?

The name Pixel du Nord is a reflection of both the essence of our mission and home. "Du Nord" celebrates Minnesota, the North Star State (L'Étoile du Nord)—where Ramona grew up and where our business is proudly based. "Pixel" represents the world of technology, design, and development that drives our work.

Ramona founded Pixel du Nord with a vision to deliver seamless tech solutions. Inspired by her love for web design and software development, she set out to create a studio that blends technical expertise, creative design, and genuine care. And now, joined by Jay, whose technical background and passion for innovation complement her vision, they lead Pixel du Nord to provide exceptional services to their Minnesota community.

Together, Ramona and Jay bring technical depth and creative vision to every project.

Meet Ramona

Ramona brings over a decade of experience in web development, with certifications in both front-end and back-end programming from the College of St. Paul and Promineo Tech, plus training in Python and data science from top U.S. institutions.

Currently pursuing a B.S. in Physics at the University of Minnesota, she excels at building intuitive websites and applications that bring ideas to life.

Outside work, Ramona loves reading, drawing, hiking, dancing, and family time.

Meet Jay

Jay is a seasoned systems engineer with a Master's in Software Engineering and more than 25 years of experience delivering robust, scalable software solutions.

His toolkit includes expertise in JavaScript, Java, Ruby, C#, among other languages, along with a wide range of frameworks, CMS platforms, blockchain technologies, and DevOps tools.

Jay is a robotics enthusiast and enjoys video games, camping and going out with family.
