This policy covers Pixel Auto Clicker for Android, published by Pixel du Nord LLC ("we"). The short version: we do not collect your data. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no trackers and no server of ours behind it. The one component that does collect anything is the advertising SDK, and this policy says exactly what it takes.
Data we collect
None. Pixel Auto Clicker sends no personal data, no usage data and no telemetry to Pixel du Nord LLC. We operate no servers for the app, so there is nowhere for your data to arrive. There is no sign-up, no profile, and no account for you to delete.
The accessibility service
The app needs Android's accessibility service to work, because dispatching a tap is something only that service can do. It is the permission people are right to be careful about, so here is precisely what it can and cannot do here.
The service is declared with canRetrieveWindowContent="false". That is not a statement about our intentions — it is a capability the app never asks Android for. Without it the service cannot read the text, the fields or the contents of any screen, ours or anyone else's. What it does is generate tap gestures at the coordinates you marked. It does not read, record, screenshot or transmit what is on your display.
Pixel Auto Clicker is a general-purpose automation tool rather than an assistive one, so it is declared to Google with isAccessibilityTool="false" and uses the accessibility service only as the mechanism Android provides for simulating taps. You grant the permission yourself in Android's settings, and you can revoke it there at any time; the app stops clicking the moment you do.
What stays on your device
The zones you mark, your schedules, your preferences and your Pro unlock are kept in the app's private storage on your phone. They never leave it. Uninstalling the app deletes them, there is no copy anywhere else, and there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.
Advertising
The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. We receive nothing from them but aggregate earnings — no profile of you, no list of what you tapped. Google, however, does collect data in order to serve and measure those ads: typically your device's advertising ID together with device and diagnostic information, used for advertising and to limit how often the same ad is shown to you. That collection is Google's and is governed by Google's advertising policies. It is also the reason this app's Data safety declaration on Google Play says data is collected: it is collected by the ad SDK, not by us.
You have two ways out of it. In Android, Settings → Privacy → Ads lets you reset your advertising ID or delete it altogether, which stops it identifying you across apps. And the one-time Pro purchase (US$1.99) removes every ad from the app.
Purchases
Pro is an optional one-time purchase processed entirely by Google Play. We receive no payment details, no name and no address — only the anonymous confirmation Play hands the app so it can unlock what you bought. Restoring a purchase asks Google Play, not us.
The permissions the app asks for
- Accessibility service — to generate the taps. Described above.
- Internet and network state — used only to load ads and to confirm a purchase with Google Play. The clicker itself works offline.
- Ignore battery optimizations — optional, and you are asked before it is requested. It keeps Android from killing a long run or a scheduled one in the background.
- Wake lock — keeps the device from sleeping while a run is in progress.
- Vibrate — feedback when a run starts or stops.
- Billing — the Pro purchase.
There is no permission for your contacts, your location, your camera, your microphone or your files, because the app has no use for any of them.
Children
Pixel Auto Clicker is a utility for a general audience of 13 and over. It shows ads and it is not part of Google's Designed for Families programme. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them — we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with an updated date. Given the app's design — no collection, no servers — material changes are not expected; a change of advertising provider would be one.
