Accessibility

Divinare is a tool for reflection we want to share with everyone. That's why we designed the app thinking about people who navigate with screen readers, prefer larger text, are sensitive to motion, or need more contrast. This page summarizes what we support today and how to take advantage of it.

Supported features

• VoiceOver

  The entire app is navigable with iOS and Android screen readers. Buttons, cards and modals have descriptive names so VoiceOver and TalkBack announce them correctly.

• Voice Control

  Compatible with iOS Voice Control. You can say "Tap Spreads" or "Show numbers" to interact with the app without touching the screen.

• Larger text

  In-app selector with six levels (100% to 200%). Main content scales up while the bottom navigation bar stays readable without breaking the layout.

• Dark mode

  Three dark themes available (Cosmic Mystical, Silver Moon, Mystic Fire) plus a high-contrast theme. Switch any time from Settings.

• Don't rely on color only

  We use icons, shapes and text — not only color — to distinguish states. Also works with the operating system's color blindness filters.

• High contrast

  Enable the high-contrast theme with one tap. Defined borders, higher contrast ratio between text and background, and bold typography for better readability.

• Reduce motion

  The app respects your system preference. You can also force motion reduction only inside Divinare from Settings, without changing the operating system's preferences.

• Reading captions

  When you play an interpretation, the current sentence is highlighted as the audio plays. Useful for following the audio with your eyes or in noisy environments.

How to enable system features

iOS

1. Open Settings → Accessibility on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Choose the feature you want to enable: VoiceOver, Voice Control, Display & Text Size, Motion, etc.
3. Open Divinare. The app will detect your preference and adapt automatically.

Android

1. Open Settings → Accessibility on your phone or tablet.
2. Enable TalkBack, Font size, Remove animations, or another feature.
3. Open Divinare. The app respects system preferences automatically.

Options inside the app

Independent of system settings, Divinare has its own options in Settings → Accessibility. You can control text size, high contrast, animations and captions without leaving the app.

Found an issue?

Accessibility is never finished. If something doesn't work as it should or you have a suggestion to improve the app, write to us. Your opinion matters and we reply personally.
